Global coffee exports slump by 2.9% in 2007-08

India's overseas coffee sales fell by 4.31 per cent at 2.4 million bags during the review period, a global body said.

The commodity market regulator FMC on Monday said futures trading will resume this week in potato, rubber, chana and soyaoil.

Stainless steel importers have urged the government not to restrict overseas shipments of the alloy to India.

The state-owned trading firm STC plans to sell about 45,000 tonnes of imported pulses in the domestic market in the next month.
