Lucknow, March 5: The Uttar Pradesh government on Wednesday announced a cash prize for Rs ten lakh to for medium-pacer Praveen Kumar for his performance in the tri-series one-day finals against Australia.
Making this announcement in the Vidhan Sabha, Chief Minister Mayawati said two members of the under-19 cricket team - Tanmay Srivastava and Iqbal Abdulla, both residents of the state - would be given Rs five lakh each.
