Madhyamik scripts found in Sipaigachi

Kolkata, March 10 Thirty-three geography Madhyamik answer scripts were found by a resident of Dobati village in the Haripal police station area in Hooghly on Monday.

Tushar Singha Roy handed over the sealed bundle to officials at Haripal police station. He told them he found the scripts near a road in Sipaigachi village.

Officer in-charge Tapasbrata Chakraborty confirmed he got the answer scripts at 8 pm today. “We have informed the board that we have a bundle of scripts,” said Chakraborty. They will be handed over to the board at the earliest, he added.

Officials at the council confirmed they were aware of the incident. “We want to get the scripts back at the earliest. After we receive the bundle, only then can we tell who misplaced it,” said Swapan Sarkar, secretary of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.

Last week, 41 physical science answer scripts were lost by a teacher, Krishnalal Talukdarm, at Surya Sen Street. A complaint was lodged at Muchipara police station.
