Railway stations on high alert after terrorist threats

Muzaffarnagar, March 29: Alerts have been sounded and intensive search operations of trains and railway station started by the RPF and GRP after receiving threatening calls to blow up the Haridwar railway station.

According to railway sources, Haridwar Station Officer received a letter from terrorist, threatening to blow up the railway station.

Following the threat, railway stations of Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Ghaziabad and Bijnor have sounded alert and started intensive search operations of the trains and platforms.
