TV channels to organise Baisakhi programme

Ludhiana, April 9 Three TV channels have joined hands to organise a cultural programme on Baisakhi festival. The programme will be held tomorrow at Nirvana Club, and will be later telecast of the channels.

Addressing mediapersons today, Vikas Arora and Sunil Talwar of Siti Cable announced that the cultural programme will be three hours long. Five eminent Punjabis will be honoured at the function. They added that Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal will be the chief guest for the function.

A cultural programme will also be presented on the occasion. Folk singers Hans Raj Hans and Sardool Sikandar, comedian Rajeev Thakur and singer Richa Sharma will perform on the occasion.
