3,000 jobs for ITI certificate holders

New Dehi, April 23 Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit has announced that 3,000 jobs will be made available for Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) certificate holders in national as well as multi-national companies. While inaugurating a three-day job fair, “Sopan 2008”, organised by the Department of Training and Technical Education, Delhi government, at ITI Pusa Road, she said it was a golden opportunity for ITI students to get jobs in 54 national and multi-national companies. Around 10,000 ITI students are expected to interact with senior officers of MNCs for jobs during this fair. Dikshit said the first ever job-fair of this kind would not only help students looking for jobs but also help participant companies by bringing together students of all ITI/ITCs in Delhi under one roof.
