Vinod shines in shooting tourney

Lucknow, May 4 Vinod Mishra bagged the top honours in the handgun shooting event of the Kesar Ram Narang Memorial Shooting Championship organised at KR Narang Shooting Range near Pipraghat, Lucknow on Sunday. The championship was organised by Marksman Shooting Academy.

According to the president of the academy RK Narang, the running trophy was won by TP Haveliya (Sheesh Mahal team). Rani Khan bagged the top honours in .22 rifle shooting (women’s section) while Junaid Khan emerged winner in the double trap event (men’s section).

Rupendra Upadhyay won the skeet shooting competition while Yasharth Mishra occupied the top honours in airgun shooting competition (junior section).

The Results: .22 rifle shooting (women): 1st Rani Khan, 2nd Dr Khursheed Jahan, 3rd Tauseef Jahan;
Doubletrap shooting (men): 1st Junaid Khan, 2nd Rama Kant Pandey, 3rd RK Narang;
Skeet shooting: 1st Rupendra Upadhyay, 2nd RK Narang, 3rd Shamsul Afreen;
Handgun shooting: 1st Vinod Mishra, 2nd Yasharth Mishra, 3rd Rama Kant Pandey;
Airgun shooting (Junior): 1st Yasharth Mishra, 2nd Sana, 3rd Ana Imtiyaz.
