Family held for help’s murder

Kolkata, June 29 Four members of a family in Titagarh were arrested after their domestic help’s body was recovered from Howrah. Those arrested include Vijay Agrawal, a sweet shop owner, his wife Manju and their children Vishal and Preeti.

The police said that the body of Alo Sen (13) was found in a sack kept near the gate of Burn Standard Company on Friday. The girl had gone missing on Wednesday.

“We got a lead in the case after we found that the sack in which the body was kept carried the name of Agarwal’s shop. Accordingly, we went to Titagarh,” said Praveen Kumar, Howrah Superintendent of Police. All the members of the family were produced at the Howrah court and were remanded in police custody.
